We are a small, family-run business based in Melbourne, Victoria. Our mission is to provide a more sustainable and ecologically viable packaging solution for your individual/ business needs.

Our Story

Back To Earth Packaging was founded by Jason and Jenny, two healthcare workers from Melbourne, Victoria. While Jenny was on maternity leave, she opened an online store focusing on eco-friendly products. She was looking for an alternative to Australia Post plastic mailers to send her products. In her search for more sustainable packaging, she found the Australasian Bioplastics Association. They are the peak body for the bioplastics industry in Australia and New Zealand, who are dedicated in promoting bioplastics  that are compostable and based on renewable sources. After many months of research, design, licensing and production, Back To Earth Packaging was born - inspired by this need of a more sustainable future for the planet and for the next generation.
